The natural materials that make up our planet effect how I view time and my place in it. Earth Sciences gives us the ability to consciously perceive the stories left for us in Earths’ rock record. I work to celebrate these stories within the context of my own personal identity and body. As my artwork examines my life and existence in the Southwest, my Jewish heritage and my own personal spirituality. In addition to, my interest and use of various materials that come from The Earth.
Kelsey Frosch is a mixed-media artist from Corrales, New Mexico. Frosch received her Associate degrees in Liberal and Studio Arts, from Central New Mexico Community College in 2017 along with a certificate in Small Metals and Jewelry. Recently, Frosch received her Bachelors of Fine Arts at The Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA), double emphasizing in Jewlery and Sculpture. During her studies, She worked with Walt Disney Imagineering to help create working models for future Disney park expansions around the world. Kelsey Frosch has shown work locally at Balzer Contemporary Edge Gallery and Museum of Contemporary Native Arts (MoCNA).
